Donald, I just visited your personal site http://www.dmackimages.org/ where I found your great colour pictures. The landscapes are delicate, full of atmosphere, calming and…not gray.A great find to go with the return offring.

Thank you very much Louise. Glad you liked them.
As I wrote in the introduction, I 'see' a colour image every now and then.
If anyone else fancies a look the URL direct to the gallery is: http://www.dmackimages.org/The-Photo...Grey/i-zHVGrsM

Wow ... as they say. Thank you folks for going in and having a look. And thanks again to Louise for starting the thread. Honestly, i didn't pay her anything!
Frank - Re your list. I'm very happy with #29. That, for me, was an ultra wide angle (for me, the Tokina 11-16 f2.8) being used as it should be. That little bunch of sea thrift was about 6-8 inches in front of the front element of the lens. The Island of Jura in the background was about 5 miles away.
Donald...now I realize why I have no website, color me green! It's truly a class act.
Although I once considered a Blog of sorts but my techy kids refused to help set it up...something about my mouth/prejudices/and general dislike of all people that don't use what God gave them, along with my inability to keep such thoughts to myself.![]()
Wow! Donald, I feel like I have just been through a tutorial on landscape photography! They are all very impressive, and as Louise noted, so calming. I particularly like #12.
Lots of 'Wows'.
Was just checking the stats on my website and the number of hits in the last 24 hours has taken off. Looks like this thread has resulted in lots people going in for a look.
Thanks again to everyone who has done so and who has commented above.
If you thought you heard an echo. It was just me saying Wow!
Donald, you deserve all the acclaim. Someone very wise once said: "If you want to know what good pictures are, so you may attempt to reproduce them, you have to look at good pictures first to know what they look like". I may not be to good at understand long lengthily explanation in English but a good picture is easy to understand. And no, you did not pay me for this, it was just my pleasure to share with others the enjoyment of visioning a good site.
