    Time Slipping Away B&W

All comments welcomed. This is an old house place that one of my Aunts lived in years ago, I will not tell her age , and several families after that. I'm sure it looked lots newer then. I am satisfied with the conversion but if you see something that could have been done better please point it out or show with your edit.

Not something that could have been done better, but something to consider:- A vignette that would have focused attention even more into the house?

Wonderful image, Carl. If you try Donald's idea of a vignette, consider using a subtle touch, making it slight enough that you only notice it once it is removed.

Nice image Carl! I like that you're setup below the level of the house (which creates foreboding). As for additional edits I would try adding a little more structure to the house and if possible lighten it up a bit using a vignette as Donald suggested or spot lightener (in color fx it would be Darken/Lighten center filter) to add some depth / try to separate it from the trees...

Thank You, Donald, John, Mike, Izzie, and Robert! I have edited this one with the following; slight vignette, darkened the trees, lightened the house and added a little more contrast to the house. Because I have the tendency to over do it, all edits were slight or a least I think they were.
