    Two kinds of moth

The macro gods were generous this weekend with two slightly larger critters appearing unexpectedly that were adopted for a short time.

I'm not sure if these are both the same species but they are the only ones of each I have come across here to date and posted for interest for the bug enthusiasts

All taken with the 105mm, no tubes and varying magnifications.

Almost perfect, Grahame...apart from #3. The first three are caterpillars, but what about the last three, what are they? Oh crap! I forgot your title!

I was unsure about No 3 Izzie but it was the best shot I got of his face. There's a shot of the full length, all 90mm of him including his tail but it has a total colour clash problem

Thanks David, the caterpillar just would not stay still but the moth was quite helpful but they sure are a bit scruffy up close

Thanks for commenting guys, I can't decide on a favourite perhaps No 5 for the background but then there's No 4 Mr Grumpy.

    Hi Frank,

Thanks, I wish now I had got the tubes out as he seemed in no particular hurry go far.
