Helpful Posts: I was in London last weekend so i decided to visit the newly named 'Queen Elizabeth Park' or the Olympic Park as it's also known. What wasn't known was that it was the first day the park was open to the public. HUGE CROWDS, but that added to the tremendous atmosphere and was only mildly frustrating.
I passed the day happily looking at the many unusual buildings/ vistas and listening to live bands and would recommend it to all both as a day out or an opportunity to take some nice shots.
Here's one I took of the weird viewing tower thingy, from round the back where there were no crowds !
