Osprey

I have just started going through the 1500+ photos from the time down in Fort Myers Beach Florida and I had to stop and share the 1st three images. This was just at sunrise the first morning as I walked the beach. I came across this Osprey having breakfast and he/she?? didn't really care that I was about 7-8 feet away. I waited a while to see if I could get him in flight but he was a slow eater and out waited me.

Keep going through those images! Beautiful light and detail.. The 3rd image is simply wow - so sharp and the look in the osprey's eye is so intense.

Great captures, Jon. Early morning light, nice shadows, good depth of field. It just looks like the white in the bird's feathers is slightly blown. Maybe you can tone it down a bit in pp to bring back some detail there?

Thank you all for your comments. I still have many more to go through...Great Egrets, Snowy Egrets, more GBH's, pelicans, Dolphins and maybe a couple sun rise/sun sets.
