Nice shots. It appears you didn't miss out on the record snowfall. Hope it didn't hinder your movements within the city as I heard most of the city shut down.

Very nice, love the light on the Monument. Late afternoon or early morning?

We missed the snowstorm by 3 days and moving around the city wasnt difficult because of the Metro, however walking on the sidewalks were a bit of a chore since most of the snow on the sidewalks were not shoveled or plowed. Most of the sidewalks on the national mall were not shoveled. People made a path in the snow that eventually turned to ice. Walking up to the monument was a pain since there was about 2 feet of snow on the ground.

Thanks. It was late afternoon at sunset. I would have done some more shots but I was in DC for only a day and a half. I had planned out some other shots with the Washinton Monument reflectining in the Reflecting pool, but the water was completely frozen.

Thanks for the update. I live with frozen water for about 8 months out of the year, so I know what you mean.

    Hi there,

    I'm happy with PBase.

But for posting here, there is always the "Upload Images via TinyPic" button on left below text box when replying, etc.

    Cheers,
