A bash at more Seascapes

Hi all, i picked up one or 2 ways at editing with levels and selecting certain sections. This is quite new to me as im nofar from been any good at post production. All C+C welcome. Advie always helps

Claudio - these are beautiful images, the more I look at them, the more I discover. That in itself is something that I like,

The first image has an almost painterly look. Your choice if shutter speed in the first one works very well; you have captured a soft, flowing look without having gone overboard and made everything too smooth. I find that the waves are nicely balanced by the rocks.

Your second image is equally good. I really like the golden glow on the rocks sitting on the right. These are nicely balanced against the rocks in the middle, with the long, low and soft shadows. The waves, water, sand and setting sun all work together really well in this composition.

Anyway, I am not a fan of long exposure, but this ones are really captured well. I would gladly hang these on my wall if they are mine.

These are both nice. I prefer the first one though because you can see the movement of the water and some detail in the shadow areas.

Couple of nice ones here, Claudio. As mentioned by others I like the effect of ss in the first shot, the composition, and the subtle colors.

In the second shot I like the composition, the light on the rocks, and the clouds. I find the flared effect of the sun through the clouds render it a bit too large and it overpowers the frame. And while lens flare can sometimes add to an image, in this case IMO it does not.

Thanks you all for the kind comments. Dan, i totally agree, while i was working on this image i kept wishing the sun was smaller and less flare, ive gone through some images and i have one which has the sun a bit smller so i will try work on that one. Thank you!

Did you use a 3 stop ND again for #1 Claudio or no ND filter at all?The clouds are not too smooth either,so they make me think that there was no ND filter at all

It's No 1 for me Claudio due to the way the water has been captured retaining and emphasizing the power in the movement.

Has to be viewed full size to be fully appreciated.
