Four Canucks in Flight
Just to share a bird image once in a while...
Here is one that I am pleased with simply because I managed to capture 4 Geese in flight, in focus.
Manual Focal Length 500 mm (1.4 TC extender on my 300 mm lens)
Aperture 13 SS 1/1600 ISO 1000 Exposure Compensation +.67

Sharpened using Colin's method, and I think it made for a sharper image.

Re: Four Canucks in Flight
Love it Christina...see those Canucks every morning around here. When they go South, I knew we are not going to have good weather in the next few days; North, possibility of good weather...maybe I should try to photograph them one of these days. One more week of winter here according to our holy weatherman...

Nice shot, Christina, I like the way the darker right hand wings of the two lead geese are balanced by the darker left and wings of the two geese following. It forms a nice s-curve.

Thank you to John, Isabel and Greg.
Isabel, I hope the weather warms up for you soon. It's pouring rain here.
Greg, now I will be looking for that S curve, likely for hours.

That's a nice one, Christina. Amazing you got all four heads clear and catch lights on every one.
I love the sound of Canadians in flight. When they are really on the move here you can here them passing overhead all night.

Re: Four Canucks in Flight
Thank you Dan, John, Binnur and David...
Dan... I didn't notice the catch lights and although they are wee I can see them now. Total fluke other than trying for a position with front/side lighting. I especially like how Geese sound off before they are about to fly and/or you can hear them coming. The other day, I waited for an eagle to fly and it didn't move for two hours. I need more patience.
Binnur... my other tries include many overlapping geese, ie wings over the heads etc...
