    Another strange wee spider.

I have been trying to come to grips with both Gimp and Raw Therapy. My idea was that if I could do the p.p. in one program it would be better. Hasn't worked. Maybe it will with time and practice. But for now; crop in Picasa, sharpen and some gross adjustments in Photoscape and then onto Gimp for the finishing touches. Complicated but a decent product?

The composition works but the chosen focal length falls short for such a wee spider. Nice image overall.

Brian,i think what John means is,your main subject, the spider,is too small in the frame,so you will have too move closer or zoom in to fill the frame!

Okay now I understand. I was almost to maximum closeness for this shot so moving in closer will not work. his size is less than 1/2 Cm long so filling the frame is going to be difficult even with a serious crop. I have tried macro combined with telephoto but so far with little success on something this small.
