    Tropical Nights

This is my first post, so apologies if I have managed to get it wrong. I don't seem to have got the hang of how to post a reasonably sized image.

In the tropics people wait until after dark to venture out in the cool of the evening. This photo was taken with a Canon 40D, tripod mounted with 30" exposure. A couple of joggers seem to have disappeared but the tail light of a passing cyclist remains.

Yes, it is a little small, but that's OK. For me, a "night shot" should convey the feeling of night. I think 30 secs. may have been a little too long, even with the tail light from the passing cyclist and cars on the street. It almost looks like it was shot during the day. There's also a little lean to the left.

Thanks for the critique, Terry. Actually it was more like dusk, than nighttime. I will try, again, for that elusive night shot.
