    A silly question

    How to attach a new lens? Should I clean the camera inside with an easel? Or just proceed to attach the new lens.
    I have a lens 18-55 because the autofocus of the other one was damaged.

    With the new lens the autofocus will be restored?

    Cordially,

    Catalina

    Re: A silly question

    If you know the camera needs cleaning, clean it. If you have no reason to think it needs cleaning, there is no need to bother. If you discover later that it needs cleaning, you can always clean it at that time.

    If the source of your autofocus problem was only the lens, the new lens will autofocus properly. If the camera was at least part of the source of your autofocus problem, no lens will autofocus properly.

    Hi Catalina,

    Do not attempt to clean the camera inside !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    None of the images you have posted here show that you have a dirty sensor that requires cleaning.

    Before you do anything observe the following;

    Look at your old lens fitted on your camera body and you will see a small 'dot' on the body of the lens and one on the body of the camera.

    When you attach your new lens you MUST ensure that the 'dot' on the lens and the 'dot' on the body are aligned together exactly before twisting the lens to locate it. It should turn into position without using force.

    Any questions get back to us before doing anything.

    How to attach a lens? See the instruction manual.

    What's an easel?

    What part of the inside are you talking about cleaning?
