Beautiful shots. I particularly like #4 - what a beauty.
#2 looks like a cover from Field & Stream.
All great shots (no pun intended but, that being said, the phrase "The other white meat" popped into my mind.)
Very nice.
I would assume that a picture of an albino whitetail is relatively rare. Very nice shot indeed.![]()
Beautiful and very special... I adore them all, especially the 2nd and 4th but there is something extra special about the overall scene in the 3rd image. The lighting is exquisite in all.

In the wild, life expectancy is relatively short.
Beautiful shots, as usual, Steve! I always enjoy seeing your images. Great job. Thanks for sharing.
Steve,
There's something special about these, thanks for sharing with us.

The first two are terrific.
It would be relatively easy and extremely worthwhile to eliminate the foreground blade of whatever in the fourth image that crosses the deer's left eye. Once you've done that, I would probably like that one best of all.
Nice images.
Bruce
I like #4 very much...you were complaining about not being for her to pose for you but this one is a good pose.....I hope you are happy now...![]()
Nice series Steve!
Great images Steve,well captured![]()
Wonderful! Superb and amazing light. Love them all, though #2 is my fave, and #3 is awesome as well.
I've developed the same attitude lately about a lot of targets, particularly some owls I'm after. Have you tried working from a blind or camo?Oh well, I'll keep at it , untill I get the shots I'm after.
Nice shots - very clear and sharp. With a little careful cloning I should think you could remove the branches in front of the face in the 4 image whic would make her stand out all the more
Thank you bobo, and yes she is. There is another one around somewhere, as well. Haven't seen her lately.
Thanks jack
Thanks john
Thank you william, they are fairly rare.
Thank you christina
Thank you otavio, i appreciate it. I enjoy seeing your images as well, keep up the good work.

Thank you grahame
Thanks mike...............the blade of grass doesn't bother me, in the last one. A small distraction, but tolerable.

Thank you isabel. I like the shot, but had to crop it a bit too much to make a large print. If i had one like that with full resolutiion, I would be happy.![]()
If you can find her again this is an intriguing subject. #1 because it shows her in context with a normal deer and #4 becase it is just a great shot and she is just to darn cute.
Steve, these are beautiful. they all have their appeal.
#1 I like because of the position of the two opposing colored deer.
#2 Well, because the light is just gorgeous!
#4 What a great look from her. And I agree with you. The grass does not bother me either. It doesn't obscure the eye.
Looking forward to more!
A great series Steve! Hopefully you will be able to track her progress as she matures. It is my understanding that whitetail rarely range more than a mile from where they were born? If that is the case, you will likely see her again.
