Gorgeous, Kevin! I'm surprised that you didn't include your terrific entry in the January competition, which is apparently from the same place.

Gorgeous! IMO, you cam make more drama out of 2 & 3 .
Superb images and a great sense of scale in the third one!
Dramatic images, Kevin. I love the light in the first one.
Thank you for the encouragement, gents.
Hui- I'd love to know more specifically what you had in mind. I always encourage alternative pp'g and appreciate them very much.
Mike- may just do that for February.
Donald- good to hear you say that. I wanted the ice to look more translucent, so I used 2 remote flashes with one in front and one behind and experimented with the ratios till I thought I got close. About drove my son insane with impatience- he was kind enough to act as my second pair of hands and it was not a fast process.
I'm apparently confusing you, Kevin. You entered a wonderful image in the January competition apparently taken at the same place as the images in this thread. I'm surprised that you didn't include it in this thread. Perhaps you posted it in a different thread that I missed.
Very nice, well worth the effort.
Beautiful Kevin...haven't seen anything like it in my life ever so far!
Fascinating images, Kevin.

A lot more water flowing then when I was there in mid-August, it was just a trickle. I really want to get back to there it was so much fun.
Cheers: Allan
It's the clever use of the additional lighting that makes these so attractive, great series.

Great set of images Kevin, well captured!
So beautiful images every one. Have to say I preferred Hui's colour conversion of 3
Thanks all, for the kind words and encouragement.
Hui- thanks so much for taking the time for your interesting edit. I also considered and made a version with more dramatic saturation and contrast, but then decided to go with the colour as I recalled it, but your artistry is certainly valid.
