I like the first one as well but for all it's beauty, I find that the bright red flowers are taking too much attention away from the Palm Warbler. For that reason alone I feel that the second image is stronger. I would have been very pleased to have captured either image Joe!

Joe these are great pictures. As a bird watcher I appreciate the different views showing the yellow and black under the tail as well as the profile of the face and side of wing. All in all great pictures.

Joe, more great pictures. Sometime, it would be good if you could post a sooc image just passed through the raw converter, alongside your finished one - just to give an idea and an inspiration of what is possible.
