Albino ones! I haven't seen an albino bambi! Just in pictures. For certain, good captures!

Fascinating. I didn't know these existed as albinos. Presumably quite rare?

Nice images of a special creature. When I lived in West Virginia, there was one not far off that was a sort of mascot for the town nearby.

Thank you Isabel. I've seen about 12 in my lifetime. They pop up here and their about every 6 years or so. There are two of them, both this years young ones, prob. twins born from a normally colored deer.

    Thanks john,
True albinos are very rare................these two are not true albinos. They have a couple small brown patches, the eyes are not pink, and the hooves are not pink. Not shure why they have blue eyes, but I can't wait to get a close up of them.

Thank you donald. I've been kind of busy lately, not much time for photography. Feels good to get out and start posting again.

Agreed, good to have you back and see your lovely pics. Keep it up if you can. Very interesting creature. If they are not albino, perhaps it is leucism..I don't know for sure but I recall that term as being similar to albinism. Are these animals protected, or is this a prime hunting target? I certainly hope the prior and not the latter.

Thanks matt, they are albino, just not true albino----they have a few small bits of brown in them. And no worries, these two are in a protected park.
