Human as Leading Element - Humayun Tomb

Hi, going forward on my photography venture I stopped and clicked another shot. Can you please review it and let me know what exactly is missing for it to make it much better?

With this Humayun Tomb series, I have clicked only Leading Elements. It was just an experiment to try something new. This image is more about the human than the Monument.

Here i have tried to use human as a leading element to show a Glimpse of Humayun Tomb. I have used human's and shadow's direction as leading line (Abstract line) towards the Monument as the leading element. I have also used a stone near his foot and tree to act as a barrier to keep the viewer's eye in the frame. I'm not sure, if this is a good thing to experiment or not.

Please share your views with such composition and how i can make it much better.

    Thank You

Nice. I like that long shadow coming out of nowhere, touching the temple.

I think it depends on what you want the subject to be. If the subject is to be the building, I would try a horizontal orientation and I would not include the photographer's head. You can get an idea of what I'm thinking by cropping this image to eliminate the person's head.

If the subject is to be the photographer, this works really well for me.

Thank you for your valuable review. I got your point, I can also try the concept just as suggested with the horizontal orientation. This image is more about the photographer than the Monument. In my next photoshoot for Humayun Tomb, i will surely make the monument as the main subject but will include human (chopped one) as suggested.

I really like the concept here but can't help wanting to see more of the building - somehow I want to see what it is the photographer is photographing if that makes any sense

Sometimes it is good to take some alternative scenes like this.

Possibly parts of the figure and the tree top are over dark but I don't really have any problems over this.

But my one complaint is that cloud. It should be further to the right to add texture to that large area of blue.

However, I don't suppose you had much control over this!

Thank you for your review. It is an image of the Series of Humayun Tomb acting as a teaser... Building curiosity about what this photographer is shooting, but showing the photographer and the Glimpse of the Humayun tomb Will try to shoot more like this in my next photoshoot for humayun tomb.

Thank you for your kind review and feedback I have deliberately darkened the tree because i wanted to make it just as a barrier. Very well observed and shared your views about the cloud (which i have been neglecting all the time) and the tree. from Next time i will check the clouds too in the sky and will shoot accordingly.

I like the idea of cropping the head off.
