I agree..theres jus toooo much colour..and yes #1 witht he white in corner is just a bother..more a throw away..will try ton down the sturation a bit.,..thanks David!
Agreed on crop... in the end its on preference.

No! don't throw away #1 just because of that white thingimagig at the corner -- just clone it out, nicely, as Manfred would say... I love the pose of the bee there...I kinda prefer #2 than #3 when it comes to cropping. They both all nice shots...

A crop plus a little bit of selective brightness toning down would save #1.
With the others, I frequently do similar crops to this. One nice looking overall shot which shows the background (identifying the flower can sometimes be useful) then a much closer crop for identification purposes.
