Fly..Something a little different
Hi guys and gals, im putting an image here...and to be honest..i dunno what i want.
My image quality has been a lot better than this so this is liek a throw away image. But idecided to try do something with it, i tried going a little freaky with colours surrounding the insect, im trying to give it a more alien kind of feel.
I guess i'd like to know is if i have succeeded in giving it an alien type of surrounding? i also oversharpened the insect on purpose to get the effect. I'm also trying to give it a semi photographic/drawing type of feel. Have i succeeded?
I used the hue/saturation adj to mess around with the colours, can anyone recommend on the usage of this type of adjustment?
All opinions are greatly appreciated.

That works reasonably well, Claudio. There are a couple of 'blobs' in the background that I would prefer to smooth out a bit more; but nothing serious.
When doing that sort of adjustment I often rely on layers and masks with some suitable blend mode changes to the layers.
