    Again absent of sunset...

    Hi ALL,
Again another shot of blue hour captured near my house last night. I consider this place is my regular playground to practice my landscape or sea-scape photography. The weather here these days is unpredictable. I was there last Saturday and Sunday for sunset but it was never happened due to bad weather. This is the only shot I able to make it and to share with you guys. Thanks for viewing. Hope you like it. Your c & c would be helpful and appreciated :

    Absent of sunset...

    Setting:
    5DII + EF17-40 f/4L USM lens, M-priority mode, ISO 100, f/22, 1/64 sec, tripod, cable release, Hitech ND 4 stop, Photoshop CS5.1

Tell me a little bit more about this shot...what is that boat in the foreground? Did you take a closer look and shot at that boat too? Just thinking...

    Hi Isabel,

Thanks for viewing. The foreground is not a boat. It was a wooden handrail of safety railing. The picture was shot from the jetty of the Waterfront in the Straits of Johor..

I think this is quite striking, but am not sure I like the image with that foreground rail - it seems to dominate the rest, which is very nice. I can't believe the color at your "blue hour"... is that truly how it is? It's remarkable and so vivid.

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for viewing. Yes! It was. I attached my lens of 17-40 with Hitech 4-stop ND for the cloud and sea water...
