Discounted price on discontinued flash head attachment

Thanks to Bobo, I learned of the SpinLight 360 system, which includes the ring module that attaches to the speed light and the various modifiers that are then attached to the ring. You might be especially interested in its discontinued ring module, which is being packaged with a few modifiers at a price reduced from $129 to $89 while the ring module remains in stock. That package is called the SpinLight 360 Original.

There seems to be only one practical difference between the discontinued ring module and the current ring module being sold in all of the company's other offerings. Whereas the current module accepts the company's set of circular gels, the discontinued module does not. However, you can cut your own gel and place it between the flash head and the module, which apparently is what was recommended before the module currently being made was released. I can provide two photos sent to me by SpinLight explaining how this is done if you are interested.

If you do decide to buy anything from the company, be aware during the checkout process that you have to click the specific credit card icon if you decide to pay that way; clicking the radio button to the left of the credit card icons is insufficient. Their webmaster is working on that problem.
