    Hi Jeff,

    Nice shot, but to my eye, you've got what looks like a couple of uncorrected distortions. That watermark is a huge distraction for me too.

    which watermark Colin,the one on the wall by the gate?..It seems to be an old building and in my very poor opinion if you put make-up on that watermark,mood and atmosphere would get worse.It is better to stay natural and nice..

    Jeff, nice shot, great texture and tonality. Here in the Yonne the mornings are more miserable than moody at the moment though.
    Agree with Colin on the watermark, it's kind of distracting. Re the distortions - it looks lke the verticals are converging giving the impression that the buildings aren't straight, although in my local village a lot of the houses are in fact a long way off the vertical so I could be wrong

    Its a 200 yr old building in an Earthquake zone ... most of the buildings round here are skewed ... Thanks for the response ...
