Keep a close watch on Grandma John, my kids and I, last winter, picked an elderly lady out of the snow and helped her back into her house after she had slipped on her steps.

Don't wish it, Dave...you are in position right now where we wish we are over there lately instead of here. The snow has't thawed out yet and a while ago weatherman predicted another storm, just a small one ... to add one or two inches more to what we already have right now...If you want to play in the snow, just go to Mount Buller in the winter...or Snowy Mountains in NSW. Then you have the option to go home and find peace and paradise where you are... My eldest son love snow a lot and ski and snowboard to his heart's content for a week the go back home to Melbourne. He has his fill of adrenalin then back to work.

Thanks for the comment. We are looking at the same possible conditions.

Looks pretty John , but that much cold must be hard to live with.
We don't have extremes to deal with like that in Tasmania other than bush fires.
I hope all CIC members and family are safe and well

    Nice.
Here in southern New Jersey, we only got 8". That was around for a couple of days, then a southerly flow of warm air moved in and melted it all overnight. That was followed by the deep freeze. Went from 58 degrees in the a.m. to 7 degrees the next morning. Crazy.
