Would You Point Out Your Facebook Friends' Wrong in the Replies?

Some of friends timely posted they photos on Facebook. But some of them are really in bad conditions like out of focus, wrongly use flashes, or others. Will You point out the problem in replies? Or just clicke the button of "Like"?

If you think pointing out the faults will help you could make suggestions for improvement but you run the risk of ending up with no friends.....

    Have a guess :)

Most of the time you'll be swimming against the current on that one; as soon as you stop you'll quickly be further downstream than where you started.

Everyone says "yes - please tell me" (because it's polite), but they're really fibbing to you. If they really want advice, they'll come to you.

I don't say anything but I guess once you start taking photography seriously these things stick out like sore thumbs.

I try to keep in mind that on most social media sites the posted images are meant to share an experience rather than a quality photo. So, if I know it was an important event or moment in a friends life I will hit 'like' from that point of view even if the photograph isn't the best. I do not generally offer unsolicited advice and definitely use lower standards for my non-photographer friends.

Another thing that I have noticed is that some of my friends will ask how I got a shot and have a true desire to take better pictures (usually offline). I don't consider myself a pro but if I can inspire someone to take an interest in photography I am all for it.

Don't point these things out unless they ask, and then do it face to face to avoid the appearance of being harsh. Don't click like if you don't like it, though.

I would not point out their mistakes (unless asked and then only face to face, not on FB) and I would not "Like" and image that I thought was bad. Remember even some OOF image can still be good.
