    Despite the general theme of the comments I like the vignetting. Thanks to Geoff F for allowing me to compare the images with and without. I think it gives the image more depth and adds to the impact. I think the effect would be improved if it were more gradational and mimicked the natural vignette you get with some lenses. I like the way the image works. To me the tree immediately catches the eye but then you realise the shack is there. I feel this gives another dimension to the work and makes it more interesting.
    As to whether it is fine art it depends what you mean. If you mean from the established point of view (that of the "art world") the answer would probably be no. If you want to know whether someone would pay money to hang it on their wall, then I think the answer is probably yes.
    Personally I think it is an interesting image and a good interpretation of a scene from real life. To me that makes it art.
