    Evening light

While taking a shot of the last light on Mt Cook (3754m), I looked the other way and took the second image, of Lake Pukaki. Both taken with Canon 100-400mm lens at about 350-400mm.

    Hi Ken,

Both nice images and I especially like the muted tones and simplicity of the lake. For some reason I can see the lake image with the dark shore line cropped and the sky cropped down to the top of the light streak as a large print hanging on a wall.

I love that Mtn. shot its sharp, cold, and the colors are beautiful. Just wish I could've seen it bigger.
