Louie!!! Opppsss! Maybe you do not have that advertisement in Turkey of Louie-the-fly... Anyway, that was a clear shot, David...I like the bokeh -- looks like he is on top of marble. vinyl or something similar...
Hi Isabel,no we don't get that ad here, will need to google it now lol,10 points for marble,he was sitting on marble that runs around our patio.
That was an old Aussie advert...late 1950's I think...there are just some advert jingles that sticks to my mind at some stage and Louie the fly was one of them...I love adverts -- while others watches tv soaps, dramas, politics and whatnots, I love watching advertisements. But then I am weird anyway...
I must be mad as well Isabel, when we lived in Scotland i always said the adverts were the best thing on the box lol, i googled the advert an your right, poor little fly dies though!![]()
Hi Isabel, joking aside,i do love the adverts, there is a soft drinks company in Scotland that make Irn Bru( Barr's)there ads are sooo funny! Then again maybe because i'm a ScotGoogle it...
Joking aside too, my ex-surname is McRae...very Scottish. I've googled Irn Bru...the national drink of the Scots second only to Whiskey...the terms were very familiar...Most Aussies have some ties or the other to the Scots so the terminologies were easy to understand...
It's a well known fact that any Scot drinking Irn Bru first thing on a Monday morning (oh well, any morning) has had a really great weekend/night before.
Excellent shot of a fly. The thing to like is that it actually looks like a steenking fly and not some glorified image of what it is not.![]()
Cheers Bobo,thanks again for commenting![]()
