Haha, the pint has no trouble getting to where it should in a nicely focused and smooth manner.

The training is needed so that 10-20 at the same time can be done the same way...

An idea just occurred to me after reading this. Instead of a tripod, use a monopod. The monopod is lighter, doubles as a walking stick to increase your balance, and can still be use to rest the rig between BIF shots. I think I might try this.

The lifting arm must be allowed to train itself.
I am lifting weights in between photo shoots, so I am promptly getting stronger and more in shape. Soon the rig HH will be more of a baseball as opposed to a bowling ball

Yes, a monopod is what I will be taking on the next outing. Mostly as a walking stick. The gear sits nicely on the shoulder with the RS strap and is almost weightless there. Sometimes I just cradle the lens in the left arm when waiting for something to happen.

Haha, the things we do eh? I am doing the same on and off.

Almost forgot - just bought a pair of strap-on icers.
