I've got to agree with Kaye and many of the others, it's a super image - IMO any subject is only 'done to death' when it no longer has any special meaning to you personally - even then, after a suitable lay-off, it may then rise again.

If it pleases you, others may please themselves.

Thank you, Steve, for your support.

I think what has been said, applies to all of us. Take pictures and live like there is no tomorrow. Take pictures because you want to. Revel in the joy each day brings. Share its beauty and wonder with others, always, and leave differences aside.

    Best to all,

    Marie

Stunning, Marie, and well done on the processing.

As for those jaded types who have seen it all before - there will be several million people at Sydney Harbour watching the fireworks display on New Year's eve. Except for the very young, they will all of have seen it before but they keep coming back -- or tuning in -- to see it again each year. And as impressive as that event is, it is not a patch on a good sunrise. Light, camera... magic!

Gorgeous. I too love taking sunrises. I do from my balcony because there are limited reflecting surfaces where I live which would catch the sky as it is all overshadowed by trees, hills etc. So go for it. There is a special spirit in a sunrise which you have so beautifully captured.

Catching up on this thread to see what the consensus of opinion was on the above comment for fun I did a Google Image search on 'Fiji Sunrise' and of the hundred or so images shown they are all absolutely totally different and stunning which I think supports the views expressed here so far.

And I did find one of mine there
