Krishna, The Charm Of Frozen Time

A dynamic boy I met in a remote place.
His manners reminded me of an Indian epic figure who is still in the hearts of millions of Hindus. It was surprising that his name was also Krishna.

This is very nice. Two small nits. It would be nice if his head wasn't cut off at the top. But if it's not cropped there's nothing to do. And the face doesn't seem to go with the body. Maybe just a little of the processing on the face would make the transition less jarring.

I'm not worried about the cropped head or the difference in color between face and shoulders: I have a hard time pulling away from the boy's eyes. I wouldn't do a thing to this image other than frame and hang it. It's a great shot.

Thank you Shadowman, that was my intent.

Didace, I appreciate and value much your suggestion. But as you know, these things are quite subjective. I could very well change his skin colour but resisted the temptation. He was helping his father to mix wood ash with other manure in their paddy field. It was a bit more bluish but I failed to capture that. A bright ash-blue colour is associated with our concept of Krishna and so I asked him if he was Krishna. Suddenly he looked at me like in this shot and was about to throw away an empty orange coloured plastic basin he was carrying, the broad mouthed variety you know, when I saw that flash of light on his right cheek and his eyes. And I shot this. Not much pp.
His answer, by the way, threw me flat on the floor!

Thank you very much indeed flashback, you are very kind.
