    flare

    Hi all,
Haven't visit this site for a while. thought I share recent photos I did. what do you think? too much flare? Flare is added in an iphone App so I had little control. I would prefer if I can reduce the flare opacity a little. C&C always welcome.

Hi Raycer. There may not be a one size fits all for this question. A lot depends on your goals for the image and whether or not you feel that this effect meets those goals. I happen to like the effect in these specific images as it helps capture the childs wonder of opening the package so it helps tell a story.

If you have little or no control over the amount of flair, the only choice you have is decide if 'you' like it or not.

On the other hand, if you do post processing, there are ways you may be able to tweek the image more to your liking.

I like them. The flare seems to go well with the expression on the childs face.

Thank you all for your input. I was concern that the flare being the brightest object in the picture have taken away too much attention from the key subject. I'm glad you guys don't feel that way.
