Thanks John and I agree, the tree is a bit distracting but, this was at a dog park and they were all moving about like so many goldfish in a bowl. He paused, I whistled, he looked and I shot. Sometimes you just don't have a choice.

Obviously when I'm totting a chainsaw I'm differently attired, even when roaming the City I'm much more grunge than hip. While I might draw more attention with a chainsaw, I think it would send a clear message to avoid such a person.
Thanks for the comments on the pic, I'll go back and see if I can blur the BG a bit more.

The City is a lot safer than many suppose. Manhattan certainly, most places on the West Side from Hells Kitchen down is pretty gentrified. Not too many bullets here, the outer boroughs perhaps more wild wild west.
