    Handsome shot, handsome guy. Nice work/nice dog and a very successful set of colors and tonality for the entire image. I think the autofocus picked up the near plane and the further reaches of Rocky's handsome head lack some focus. Can be a nice and desired effect, or something you may have to overcome with manual for a shot like this.

    Thanks for the comments, yes Marie, he is a great friend. Rescued from a kill shelter in Georgia and brought to Philadelphia when I adopted him 5 years ago. It is rare that I can capture a photo like this of him as he is always moving, I just happened to catch him focusing on some prey outside the window.
