It is an interesting silhouette and I am intrigued by wondering what they are talking about and looking at. The only thing I might change is that the birds kind of look like spots so unless they are part of what you are trying to convey, you might consider cloning them out.
I agree with Terri about the intriguing interaction among the people. Consider eliminating the sky altogether to emphasize that. (I hope the dark spots in the sky are birds rather than dust bunnies on your sensor.)
I wonder if there is too much going on in this scene?
Would cropping closer, and using a different size ratio, to concentrate just on the left side group actually create a stronger scene?
And yes, I would also delete the birds. In most cases, I find that unless they are sharp and obvious it is usually better to clone them out.
