32 bit processing

Two HDR shots processed in photoshop in 32 bit and then further toned in lightroom.

The HDR process seems to have worked fairly well on these shots. A couple of suggestions for the first :

• maybe decrease the highlights a little and increase the contrast a little
• consider applying perspective correction to stand the buildings up vertical
• see if you can get rid of the lens flare at the far end of the bridge

Also I'd suggest not using the Attachment method to post images but rather the TinyPic or Direct Link methods. You can post larger images then. See this link for posting advice.

I am trying to see if I can post larger images. A lot of the photography forums that I post in require small file types to post images but there are those that seem to need larger files.

The size limitation is only if they're being hosted here, as attachments.

If you host your images externally (eg Facebook, Flickr, Pbase) there are no limits (the browser will just load them from the host site -- the images themselves don't come anywhere CiC in that case).

If you look at the link I referred to above, you will get some detailed advice on how to post images. Something around 1500 pixels wide or 1000 pixels high and a jpeg quality setting that gives a file size of about 400-500KB seems to work fairly well on CiC.
