Possibly the midtones are a fraction on the dark side? Probably due to having potential over exposure problems with the background.

Good composition though; and sharply focused.

Boyer, thank you very much; but what is a PITA like?

I wouldn't worry about the branch. It is obviously part of the distant background and any alteration is going to be difficult; and tricky to achieve a natural looking result.

But I suppose next time you could remove the branch before shooting!

    Re: Guy with an attitude

On that branch, I'd just remove the bit above the ear and leave the bit beneath it alone - it actually helps there.

Agree the dark tones a bit too dark.

I wondered about the crop, the eyes are on the right of centre and looking out the right of the image (as we view it).

So I tried moving the Lytebox off the left edge of my screen, effecting a crop off the left edge of the image - I just left the fur uncropped. Like that, I found the branch to be less of an issue because the bright bit was gone. Try it.

Good focus, Depth of Field and natural colours, well done.

    Hope that helps Nandakumar.

    Cheers,
