    Hi Bobo,

    Not quite. The shutter opens and closes as per normal, but the mirror stays locked up (so no view finder, live view, focusing, or exposure metering while you're firing), and it has to be in JPEG mode, not RAW. It's more suited to remote activation scenarios.

    Yup, now have to be more careful about making sure not to knock the stuff around. I used to be pretty careless with the handling the equipment. Now I have to make sure that my rather rough use does not cause those around me to get hurt.
