Superb shot, Trevor. Glad I didn't miss this.

I can see that I may have to brave the elements and try this barn in winter. Next time I not be so stupid as to dress for fall. The full kit next time. Wool hat (we call them toques) insulated coveralls, fleece neck gaiter, snow boots and expedition winter gloves with fleece liners. And a flask of coffee.
Stunningly beautiful image... I'm a huge fan of your barn photos! Keep them coming.
I too can't wait to see these same images in winter. Talk about desolation. Great images btw.
Trevor it is .................................................. ..Superb!
I love it!
Bravo, Trevor! This is a superb image, well planned and executed. Not a criticism, but have you tried flipping it left to right? Just curious.
No problem. I was only fooling around. I understood from your initial comment that you only implied that you had seen this barn before; not that you didn't want to see it again. I only affected a stance of being affronted to be humourous.
I should be the one apologizing if I caused you any discomfort.
I love both versions. Great photo!
Trevor,
Another masterpiece of this great subject and landscape. I eagerly await more.

Talk about determination repaid. This is just excellent. I have a problem with cold but no where near the temperatures you will likely face if you do go back. Up to now I have relied on a pair of gloves bought in Norway. The fingertips are hinged and can be folded back onto Velcro pads. However, using a pair of latex gloves underneath sounds good. I might just try that.
Trevor, this is magnificent. Thank you for sharing.

It raises that age-old question (and just to get a debate going again) of how much manipulation of a scene such as this is appropriate. For me, flipping it like this would be a step too far, as that is too far removed from what is there. However, I do B & W. How is that not removing the image from reality?
I could easily confuse myself if I thought too much about it.
