Thanks John - I am looking at taking the "L" bracket and long extension arm and small spirit level so that I can do panos, so that is definitely in the plans. I put panos together in Photoshop.

The only lenses I'm taking for sure at the f/2.8 24-70 and the f/2.8 70-200. Still debating if the f/2.8 14-24mm is going. The 80-400mm or the 150-500mm might go (probably not) and I'm also still considering the f/2 105mm DC for portraiture. I've got a window clamp / ball head setup that I should be able to pop on the window of the Landcruiser we will be travelling in.

The mFT I have is the video camera (Panasonic AF100) and based on the very tight luggage allowances, it won't be making the trip this time. I have both the 14-140mm and the 100-300mm Lumix lenses (staying at home too). This is definitely not a wildlife trip, although we will likely see some Zebras and crocodiles. Insects really don't interest me. I think my last bug picture was a dung beetle doing its thing over 30 years ago, and I don't get too excited by birds either.

Blower bulb is already packed as are a whole slew of filters (polarizers, NDs and grad NDs). One flash is going for sure, potentially both (SB-900 and SB-600). I hope to get some decent people shots, so I've got room for a 42" silver / white reflector. I would love to take my scrim, but it's way too big; but would be perfect for people shots during the sunny daytime hours.

Rain won't be much of an issue, but dust will.
