The snow looks a bit blue in the first image. But there isn't really much easy alternatives without destroying that interesting sky.
The second one is fine; crisp and cold.
More snow that we had here - 5 mm one day and that was that.

Love the second one, Bootsy.
I had big trouble when I first shot the snow with slide film, but on that second one you've pretty much nailed it since you are trying to balance the sky and the snow, tough choices.
