Strawberries anyone?
Just for fun a record of the first strawberries I have managed to save before the unknown critters in my garden eat them.
It was also a test for my new white balance card and an excuse to get the camera out indoors during an extremely wet and windy day.

Your photo makes it look easy to get such high quality. Fortunately, I know better.

Re: Strawberries anyone?
Thanks Mike,
It was a fun exercise and although I had another with the hairs on the stalk tack sharp it took the impact away from the body of the fruit. I also threw in a Gaussian blur radially masked outward to assist the isolation for practice.

Re: Strawberries anyone?
It's interesting that you mentioned the hairs on the stalk. It might help you to know that after studying the photo last night before I had the benefit of your comment, I came to the belief that if they had been in focus the stalk would have become the subject. It was and is clear to me that the fruit itself is the subject thanks to the choice that you made about that.
