I Love it. The one problem I seem to have with long exposure waterfall shots is blown Highlights somewhere which you have avoided. Looks like you where standing in the water. Did you use a polarizer or ND filter
?
WOW! I cannot believe I am the 1st to post.
This is beautiful and you should be proud!
This had to be difficult with sun casting shadows, any insight on how you did this shot?
Nice,
Nancy
Nice capture.

Hi
I looked at the first image - good subject, good exposure etc, but it didn't do anything for me. As I scrolled down to look at the next post - image no 2 - wow! A bit more context around the subject and I feel I am at the waterfall. The golden reflections on the water are a nice touch. The only thing I might have tried is a second shot to get the exposure of the triangle of trees at the top right and then patch it into the main image.
regards
Clive
Liked them both and more liked one is the second![]()

Second one for me as well but I think that the highlight at the top needs toning down a bit.
Love both your photos! I'm still learning, and am new to this forum; waterfalls are something I'm looking forward to shooting though I have to find some near enough to home to spend time at with my camera. Hope mine turn out as well as yours.![]()
Rebecca,
I live in the flattest part of Nebraska, I only get to shoot waterfalls once a year when we go on vacation, so understand completely . . . it is hard to practice when you don't have any water falls around you. Thanks for the compliment and I look forward to seeing your photos. This is a great place to learn.
These are beautiful Kathy!
Gorgeous images! Both! I think the 2nd image is my favourite because you captured the light beautifully...
I also like both of them...
