    This was taken on our hike around the base of Devils Tower, very peaceful.

    Phew! That's dramatic. Talk about an image making an impact. This one belts you right between the eyes.

    My only critical comment is that I'd want to move the tower off centre. I'd be keen to look at alternative compositional/crop options so that the tower was more to the left of the frame. Just a thought?

    I think so. It feels a much better balanced image to me. Also,w e can still enjoy the beautiful texture and light on the trees, but our attention is even more directed towards the tower.

    That, I think is one of which you should be very proud.
