    Mushrooms in Macro

I found these interesting looking orange mushrooms growing at the base of a huge oak tree in the woods by my house. Taken with a Nikon D800 + 70-200 f/2.8 + Canon close up diopter at f/2.8 and 1/250th second, ISO 100. I took four pictures and focus-stacked them in Photoshop CC. It was my first time focus-stacking.

    Thanks for viewing!

    Cliff,
A nice stack of a group of Honey Fungus from the look of them. I too use focus stacking for macro subjects.
Did you manually advance the focus?

Thanks James. Yes, I advanced the focus manually. The camera was on a tripod.
