No I didn't I used Paint Shop Pro X5 which i have and also used this for the text. I have just noticed Bruce's reply saying you can add borders in Lightroom under the print module.

Robin, borders can be added in LR under the Print Module.

Thank you to all that have commented and helped me with the learning process to achieve a finished product that I am happy with.
It may not be perfect, but it is a whole lot better than the initial photo.
I did use lightroom to export it as a jpeg with output sharpening. Not sure if its done the job, but hey ho, one step at a time.

For those that do not know, this bridge is not straight and is more of a reverse 'S', so not sure if this adds to the alaignment issue

You can add an identity plate, and/or watermarks in LR (Print Module). LR does not support texts per se.

Full Manual - 28mm, ISO 100, F18, 30 seconds (this was the best exposed from shots taken from 10 seconds to 30 seconds at 5 second increments)
