    I like how the background imitates the pattern on the 'home'. Not so keen on that bit of blur botton-right.

    Fascinating when you think what this translates into in human terms. Carrying something like that in relative terms is quite a feat. Good image but I would have preferred to see a shot from the other side so that the snails head was visible.

    Thanks John. I have a series of shots of the snail coming out but, as it did it simultaneously rotated to its left (I tried three times). Either it didn't like seeing me upon coming out or it had a specific route in mind. As the snail comes out of its shell, it's foot is rather large and, along with the head (and antennae) doesn't have the same image coming at you as going away.

    I much prefer this one. I think the gain is significant. It doesn't have that distraction of the blur at the bottom. Be interested to read what others think.

    The second version seems better to me because that distracting blur is gone.

    Thanks George, another pair of eyes (at the least) is always helpful.
