Taken under one of the road bridges over the River Clyde, using a high ISO, 800, due to the poor light. First time working with Kaylyne, who proved to be an excellent model.

    As ever comments welcome.

Full marks for an original idea David but I'm not sure it has quite come off. There's not enough of her eye visible to make a strong connection with the graffiti/poster and the first thing that catches my eye is the ear ring which is a little distracting. Worth trying another angle because the idea is different.

    Re: Eye

Thanks John and Andrew. When I took this shot I also shot a few more with Kaylyne's face slightly more in focus. Having looked at them again, and even cropping out her earring, the image just didn't move me as much as this one did.

In future I'll need to remember toi try and get the connection more evident, maybe a higher camera angle would have helped.

    Re: Eye

It's a nice idea but it's a bit ambiguous, which eye is the subject?

    Re: Eye

I also like your idea. You might get rid of the ambiguity of your current title by retitling it Eye to Eye. Also, as stated by others the angle of your shot maybe can be improved. I think it's definitely worth playing with this idea again.

    Re: Eye

"Eye to eye" may have been a better title. Hopefully get other chances with this and similar graffiti pictures with Kaylene and try out different angles and perspectives..

Thanks everyone for taking the time and trouble to comment
