An interesting shot.
Hi Ken,
I like this, but personally, I think it is improved by taking 10% off the right hand edge, the main aim to lose much (not all) the green patch top right, but I also feel it helps with the compositional placing of the main timbers.
HTH,
I think that is quite an amazing and very interesting image. How did you photograph this without blowing the fire?
I agree with Dave's suggestion and I think it would also look very nice cropped 16 x9
Viewing this at its largest size I am mesmerized by it...almost as if I am sitting in front of the fire itself. I like this very much and would be interested to see different crops, I think Donald is on to it with a square crop.
Cheers
Thank you all for your most useful and helpful advice. I am on to it!
That is a nice shot indeed; have you done some cloning on the right top? i personally would love to keep the image without trimming, because the branches are strong leading lines to the center of the image; instead you may work out some more cloning there leaving only some tit bits of green there to balance green seen on the other side too

Awesome shot!! Looks three dimensional.
