Great Salt Lake Sunset 9/1

First off - I got to the Island too late, so I missed a rainbow and most of the light. But this is pretty much the peak of it due to the clouds in the background. So, there is no good foreground. My shoes were slowly sinking into the salty mud and finding a good composition was difficult due to limited time. It is what it is. Although I do like the colors going across the sky.

A good photographer always suffers for his/her art I don't know what a rainbow could have added to this Mavourneen. It's a riot of colour already and quite beautiful. Really nice work.

John, there was no rainbow in this area; it was out of frame facing towards the wasatch mountains; I was just mentioning I missed it because I left too late But I appreciate the kind words!!
