    Siesta

    I took this image last year and just got around to editing it. A young buck and his mother taking an afternoon nap. Not too often you can use another deer as a background, but I think it works well for this one.

    Steve, that is a great shot. I especially like the way you got down to get the perspective and composition.

    Just a thought - would you consider de-saturating the greens a bit? I think it makes the the fawn stand out even more (but I've been wrong before....)

    Very nice. I like it when deer lose their fear of us, at least for a few months out of the year.
