    why did you cut the bottom of the cross?

    Hi Nicola, I cropped this photo quite a bit because of the negative space around it and I wanted the viewer to focus on the cross and then on the island in the background. Had I not cropped the bottom, the island wouldn't have been in the frame.

    Hi Murat.

    I agree with Nicola and would have like to seen more at the bottom of the cross. I would be curious to see how the negative space looks, thinking if it were dark enough, it might balance with the sky above. Just a guess.

    Lovely shot. Very emotive. May be getting a touch of posterization in the LUQ, but this really works for me.
